MANPOWER ACCELERATION PROGRAMS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX

Manpower has partnered with University of Phoenix to offer courses to help build your skills. Over six weeks, you’ll take courses online, complete assignments, and learn new concepts to help build your career. You can expect to commit four to six hours of time each week to successfully complete the program.

Manpower associates that graduate from the program receive a certificate for their achievement, one college credit that can be applied to a Bachelor’s Degree with University of Phoenix, and access to their Manpower Talent Agent to help potentially use their newly gained skills.

Programs offered and start dates are listed below. Enrollment opens three weeks prior to course start dates, and closes 1 week prior.

    • Be in a participating Manpower location in the United States

      • Franchise locations, residents of, or persons working with Manpower Branches in California or Puerto Rico are NOT eligible.

    • Participants can only take one Manpower Acceleration Program at a time

What you'll Do:

  1. Take the bundled series of online classes.

    • Each individual course takes approximately 1 hour (on average) to complete.

  2. Coursework is self-paced. Eligibility will be verified monthly and cut-off dates communicated.

 

What you'll Get:

  1. New skills in an in-demand manufacturing field.

  2. When you complete the program, your talent agent can help you seek opportunities in the manufacturing field by identifying available roles and actively promoting you to manufacturing employers.

 

Successful Completion Gets You:

  1. A certificate of completion

  2. The stepping stone to explore new job opportunities in an in-demand field.

  3. Associates who successfully complete the Certified Manufacturing Associate (CfMgA) pathway may also be eligible to take a separate exam and obtain a certificate offered by Tooling U-SME. A Manpower representative will communicate the next steps towards the certification to eligible associates nearing completion of this pathway. There is limited availability for the Tooling U-SME certificate exam.

 

  • Applications from eligible associates will be accepted weekly. Access to begin the program will be provided on each Friday to any new approved enrollees. Manpower cannot guarantee that all eligible enrollees will gain access the same week in which they apply.

    • To be eligible, the associate must:

      • Be on an active Manpower assignment

      • Not be in a role similar to the program to which they are applying (for example, an Assembler cannot take the Assembler pathway).

      • Be in a participating Manpower location in the United States

        • Franchise locations, residents of, or persons working with Manpower Branches in California or Puerto Rico are NOT eligible.

      • Participants can only take ONE Manpower Acceleration Program at a time

      • Refer to the Manpower Acceleration Program Tooling U-SME Associate FAQ for further questions.
