The Staff Accountant is instrumental in the functions of treasury, accounting, capital project accounting, and oversite of the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. The candidate will report to the Accounting & Treasury Supervisor.

    What is the job?

    · Participate in month-end close processes such as the reconciliation of production and inventory.

    · Financial reporting including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow with a trend analysis.

    · Assist with annual audits, taxes, and regulatory reporting.

    · Capital project accounting and reporting including opening and closing of projects.

    · Supervisory oversite of the AR and AP staff.

    · Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

    · Treasury function including administration over bank accounts and reconciliation. This includes the electronic access to banks in conjunction with our IT and bank s IT group.

    · Assist with preparing and reviewing support related to internal controls.

    · Assist with integration projects to align current systems and policies with parent company.

    What will make you successful?

    · B.S. or advanced degree in Accounting, Cost Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.

    · A minimum of 2 years accounting and audit experience

    · Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    · High degree of personal responsibility and initiative is required. Must possess a high level of integrity and discretion in working with confidential information.
