    Do you have a background in Accounting if so, Manpower may have the position for you?

    The In-house accountant is responsible for paying vendor invoices, running payroll, filing quarterly financial reports, paying for, and maintaining services such as insurance & credit cards, filing estimated incomes, handling tax return filings for multiple states, as well as various record keeping aspects of the job. The In-house accountant will need bio be competent with computers and capable of quickly learning our business software though in house training. Though the in-house accountant does not need to be a CPS a background or education in accounting and knowledge of taxes is necessary.

    Job Duties

    Process Local, State, and federal Tax returns
    Process payroll
    Process various insurance payments
    Make estimated monthly income tax payments
    Pay vendor invoices
    Process various quarterly reports like W3, W9, 940 and 941
    Process various legal paperwork such as W2
    Maintain accurate physical and digital records for the business
    * Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
    Coordinate with the AGM and GM to maintain inventory levels and address inconsistencies/miscounts in inventory monthly.
    Master the office software to use the General Ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, inventory, and other applicable accounting tools to maximize accuracy and effectiveness.

    Requirements

    College degree with a focus in accounting, business, or marketing or an acceptable combination of education and experience is necessary.
    * Prior work experience in not require but is desired.
    * Demonstrated high level of integrity and work ethic with solid time skills.
    * Professional demeanor.
    * Ability to retain through job training a strong knowledge of our business software.
    * Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
    * Self-motivated bringing an engaging level of enthusiasm to the company.
    * Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
    Strong attention to detail.

    Working Conditions and Benefits

    Office desk job with occasional help in warehouse when shorthanded checking in freight and inventory.

    No lifting over 40 lbs. required

    * Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

    * 40-hour full time work week (8am - 5pm Monday - Friday) with a 1-hour lunch.
