    Manpower in partnership with manufacturing company in Longmont, CO is seeking and experienced Supply Chain Buyer to join their team. This role is direct hire with great company benefits.

    MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Manage the production Supporting procurement for electrical and mechanical parts.
    * Utilize MRP/ERP Software to determine parts needed, order frequency and reduce supplier lead-times.
    * Negotiate and administer purchase orders in support of production needs.
    * Determine and maintain levels of inventory to meet organizational metrics.
    * Review and understand purchase order terms and conditions.
    * Manage/modify open and past due orders with suppliers, adjusts schedule as needed.
    * Monitor supplier performance, prepare reports and other records.
    * Contributes to continuing improvement efforts across all facets of supply chain.
    * Excellent communication & negotiation skills.

    * Ability to interface with other Departments.
    * Identify opportunities for procurement process improvements and cost savings.

    EXPERINCE & SKILLS:

    Education/ Experience:

    * Bachelor's Degree or 2-year Associate degree in Supply Chain, Technology or Engineering.

    Skills:

    * Experience with Windows based software, specifically Excel and Word.
    * Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment to accomplish goals while managing multiple tasks.
    * Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    What you will be doing

    Assist with daily administrative operations in the Office of Children's Medical Services

    Answer and re-direct calls on a multi-line system

    Sort and distribute mail

    Drafts, formats and completes routine memos and letter within established time frames.
    Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, prepares and submits travel reimbursements for the CMS Plan staff.
    Coordinates meeting, including the scheduling of meeting rooms, preparation of agendas, materials. Coordinates and makes arrangements pertaining to conferences calls.
    Attends staff and other meetings as required.

    What you bring to the job

    Staff must possess at the minimum three years of experience working with the public.
    Three years of experience answering multi-line phones.
    Five years of experience using Microsoft Outlook.
    Three years of experience working with Executive Management or Department Leadership
    High school diploma or equivalent
