    What will I be doing?


    * This position will be working with a large irrigation district near Tulare, CA, organizing and analyzing data related to water deliveries, water management, land management, mapping, and compliance with legal requirements.
    * This position will also provide input on legal agreements and other water policy documents.
    * This position will record, verify, track water delivery data, delivery schedules, water user balances, groundwater and surface data, landowner parcel data, and prepare maps using GIS or AutoCAD.

    What do I need to know?

    Education: Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Agricultural engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience: Entry level and new grads will be considered

    * Exercise considerable initiative, judgment, and discretion in performing administrative work and in screening calls, visitors, and in general public relations activities.
    * Exercise initiative in keeping informed of all agency policies, rules and regulations.
    * Act as liaison between DBHA, participants, and landlords by communicating daily by phone, email and face-to-face about cancellations, scheduling updates and corrections for inspections.



    What You Bring to the Job:

    * High School Diploma.
    * Five years of demonstrated administrative work experience.

    * Work with internal departments to enter new account credit applications, check the status of open orders, determine which containers should be routed to the appropriate DC, verify pricing, and communicate any discrepancies to client and/or sales rep.
    * Follow up with Distribution Center's open orders and review billing tree.
    * Backup for other departments on specific administrative functions (i.e., mailings, handling invoices, etc).

    * Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order.
    * Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes. Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create milk-run BOLs Perform order double checks.
    * Performs all duties in strict accordance with company safety and environmental policies. Serve as a backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
    * Check inventory control and notify the Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock. \
    * Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
    * Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
    * Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
    * Evaluate Drivers' performance. Monitors Drivers' DOT hours. Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis. Maintains ELD system,
    * Corrects errors and retrieves daily reports. Assist the Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
    * Manage the facility Intelex reporting system
