    • Maintain effective and accurate information received into the HR SSC via case management/call tracking system

    What’s the Job?

     

      Performs all functions associated with material movement through the NRDC shipping and receiving areas: receive materials and shipments and distribute or store, package materials and shipments and arrange transport; all in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.  Receives, ships, handles, stores, and distributes hazardous goods using proper procedures.  Maintains complete and accurate records of all shipping and receiving activity, including monthly summary reporting. 

     

    What’s Needed?

     

      Safely utilize a variety of packaging equipment including shrink, palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and barcode systems, as well as the materials, hand tools, and equipment required to protect and package shipments for domestic and international transportation.  Understand and use necessary shipping forms, waybills, airbills, bills of lading, commercial invoices, pro forma invoices, customs forms, and others. Understand and follow proper export control procedures.  Operate small and large material moving equipment, both motorized and manual.  Check incoming goods for accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
