Terms of Contract
* Asap to April 4, 2022
* $ 31.79/hr
* Paid overtime
* Opportunity for permanent hire
Key Responsibilities:
* Packaging management. (return flow, inventory, repair, replace)
* Shipping damage - investigation, containment and root cause analysis, part rejection and countermeasure implementation
* Investigate delayed or missing packaging
* Project management ( Plan vs actual, gap analysis)
* Negotiating with packaging and OEM supplier (cost, design, schedule)
* Cost analysis - maintenance, comp requests, cost improvement
* Managing supplier relationships
* Data summary for month end reports
Position Requirements:
* Previous negotiation experience
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
* Problem solving experience (Why/Why, and Decision Analysis)
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong mathematical, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational, project management and teamwork skills
* Strong prioritization, decision making and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in a fast paced, results oriented environment
* Knowledge of purchasing, transportation, packaging or supply chain experience
Additional Requirements:
* Able to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
* Able to work overtime on short notice
* Flexible for off shift rotation (2nd shift (4:30pm - 1:00am or 2:00am for one week, every 7 weeks )
* Valid "G" driver's license
