What will you be doing?
Coordinates the daily activities of the press/work cell team and is responsible for the safe, efficient, quality conscious operation of the press/work cell teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Motivate and lead the efficient production of the associates within the press/work cell.
Ensure parts are packaged and labeled according to the approval packaging standard.
Ensuring all operators understand their work instruction.
Set cells up for job changes ensuring associates have all tools needed to complete their jobs.
Training of associates and documenting operator level of proficiency.
Assure housekeeping standards are met on an ongoing basis.
Touch-count parts on an hourly basis.
Hold the team to scheduled lunch and break times.
Float/operate press/work cell as needed.
Relieves production operators for breaks, meals, and other needs.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization.
Verify operator paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
Monitor and verify the takt boards are being properly filled out and maintained. Acts in conjunction with "backfill Supervisor" and/or Department Manager to lead their assigned team with the exception of implementing disciplinary action and approving/declining Time-Off requests.
Assist in any other duties assigned by their supervisor.
Being flexible in working overtime, even on short notice, as needed by the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and involvement in presentation of the solution to customer.

· Provide technical support to from line conception to installation and operation.

· Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.

· Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team.

· Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.

· Interpret operational interruptions, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately.

Engineering:

· Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.

· Define equipment and upgrades throughout an assembly line and individual pieces of equipment.

· Identify and trial new electrical technology and software. Design of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems.

· Create documentation such as operations manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings.

· Ability to architect programs that are simple to test, well documented and versatile.

· Maintain accurate records and files according to quality standard.

· Support commissioning of new assembly lines and systems onsite and at supplier facilities.

· Performs other assignments as directed by a manager.

Qualification and Skills:

· 3-5 years related job experience.

* Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems.

The Program Manager is both a customer and internal facing position. This position coordinates the product development for engineering changes in support of new or sold business by leading cross functional teams using the product development process to meet internal and customer expectations and requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Initiate, kick-off and lead multiple product development programs including engineering changes and products consisting of new and existing technologies.

* Develop the program scope and assure product timing, quality and delivery expectations are achieved.

* Responsible for communication and escalation of key program issues impacting cost, quality, timing, resources, and customer specifications.

* Manage, monitor, and control cost and schedules of the assigned programs.

* Promote commonality of manufacture for economy of scale and complexity reduction.

* For new designs, utilize parts, methods, and practices, which are practical and realistic in actual production.

* Works with and leads program launch meetings with internal departments. Communicates and holds regular updates with the customer as necessary
