    Production Support

    General Description

    1 To provide technical support with new project part design, troubleshoot production problems, debug production metalizing & masking start-ups

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    1 Development and Debug of fixtures and machines for new product launch.
    2 Troubleshoot production problems
    3 Change fixtures, based on the production need
    4 Provide support to the preproduction areas
    5 Make electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs to the machines
    6 Create action plans for corrective actions due to customer complaints
    7 Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for the machines in the metalizing area
    8 Preventive and corrective maintenance to the carriers
    9 Respond to any contingency due to substances in the area

    Job Requirements:
    Work experience:

    1 Previous technical experience or training with vacuum metalizing, sputterinq or liquid spay application equipment.
    2 3 years experience in a light industrial manufacturing environment.

    Education:

    1 Some College or technical training.

    Manage the program specific activities required for the introduction of new projects in the plant

    1 Manage the scope, cost, and timing of new projects
    2 Coordinate all manufacturing engineering and quality engineering activities for new programs
    3 Provide problem solving support to the production lines
    4 Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events and VA/VE activities
    5 Coordinate the industrialization of tools into the plant operation
    6 Provide follow-up to the purchase orders for production components, tools and equipment
    7 Support the design and development of the PFMEA, Control Plan and Flow Chart
    8 Schedule and provide follow-up to early sampling for customer requests and validation
    9 Coordinate APQP activities with cross functional team and provide frequent updates
    10 Support preliminary layout and planning, balance, and [email protected] activities with cross functional teams
    11 Act as primary share holder for new programs for TN Lighting plant to Global PM and Design teams
    12 Provide support to the pre-production area and external vendors as required
    13 Support and ensure the implementation of customer specific requirements as needed in the role of Local PM

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    1 2 years minimum experience launching automotive products; lighting product experience is preferred
    2 5 years minimum working experience in an automotive supplier manufacturing facility

    EDUCATION

    1 Completed college degree; prefer bachelor degree or higher; MBA general administration a plus
    2 Current PMP certification preferred
    3 Prefer 6 sigma green belt minimum
