    In this key nonprofit role, you will be responsible for home repair projects for qualified Frederick County residents. You will support a worthy mission in serving as a hands-on field supervisor. You will be responsible for site safety and for coordinating repairs in a timely manner.

    Your duties include:

    * Manage the home repair process
    * Estimate costs for repair projects
    * Track and monitor progress, adjusting timelines and work tasks as needed
    * Obtain building permits and maintain construction records when required
    * Communicate progress, needs, and concerns to the Executive team
    * Supervise any team members, subcontractors and volunteers contributing to the work tasks
    * Enforce safety standards and program compliance
    * Participate in monthly meetings
    * Interact with client families, partner agencies and business associates
    * Perform final inspections on finished projects

    The ideal candidate will have:

    * 3+ years' experience in home remodeling, renovation, or repair projects
    * Supervisory or management experience
    * Knowledge and understanding of construction principles and practices as they relate to residential construction and remodeling
    * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site plans
    * Ability to perform in a construction setting - lifting, climbing, bending, working at heights, etc.
    * Proficiency in using construction tools, power tools, ladders, small equipment, & instructing others to use them safely
    * Ability to work early morning, evening, and Saturday hours on occasion
    * Ability to deal effectively with contractors, fellow employees, permit officials, nonprofit constituents, and homeowners
    * Strong organizational skills including ability to schedule effectively and maintain accurate data
    * Computer skills: MS Office, Proficiency with MS Project software a plus

    * Effectuer l'inspection, l'entretien et la réparation des systèmes mécaniques du bâtiment.
    * Dépannage et entretien préventif des systèmes CVC.
    * Travaux d'électricité, y compris le remplacement des lampes, des ballasts et la réinitialisation des disjoncteurs.
    * Réparation des appareils de plomberie, entretien des drains et entretien préventif des toilettes.
    * Inspection et entretien des équipements de café/cuisine.
    * Gérer et soutenir l'entretien des ascenseurs, des dispositifs de sécurité incendie et des systèmes d'alimentation.
    * Réparation/réglage des portes d'accès et des portes basculantes
    * Effectuer l'entretien préventif routinier
    * Dépanner et réparer les interrupteurs électriques défectueux.
    * Fournir ou diriger les modifications opérationnelles de l'équipement et du système
    * Suivre les principes des 5S pour l'organisation/la propreté du bâtiment.
    * Ajuster les portes et les ferme-portes, réparer les grilles de plafond en T et remplacer les carreaux de plafond.
    * Effectuer des inspections visuelles du toit et effectuer des réparations mineures

    Qu'est-ce que tu apportes au travail ?

    * 3 à 5 ans dans les rôles d'opérations et d'entretien, de construction, d'entretien des installations et/ou d'opérateur de bâtiment
    * Expérience en supervision (apprécié)
    * (Atout) - Des certifications / licences dans les disciplines applicables y compris le CVC, la mécanique, l'électricité, la plomberie ou de monteur des installations de gaz - Formation formelle de l'OEM ou de l'employeur, École de métiers, programme d'apprentissage, etc., ou une combinaison de ceux-ci (Diplôme d'études secondaires ou professionnel ou école de métiers / collège)
    * Certification pour les réfrigérants (atout)
    * Connaissance des procédures de contrôle des bons de travail et de la gestion du temps (systèmes CMMS)
    * Expérience de la gestion de contrats de sous-traitance et de fournisseur
    * Capacité à utiliser des outils manuels spécialisés, outils de diagnostic spécialisés, et connaissance des pratiques d'entretien à (systèmes d'équipement électrique et mécanique).
    * Compétences informatiques de base (Word, Outlook, Systèmes CMMS, Smartphone).
    * Véhicule + Permis de conduire valide

    What will you be doing?

    * As assigned by the turnaround supervision, directs field activities for assigned area
    * Monitor and audit overall progress of all work in a specific block and ensure work is being carried out safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
    * Ensure established practices for work execution are followed
    * Work with other area coordinators to adjust activities and approaches to coordinate known priorities.
    * Identify and escalate any worker performance concerns to the appropriate coordinator for resolution.
    * Ensure upcoming work is aligned with schedule, communicated, and steps or activities are assigned to ensure completed as planned.
    * Monitor required updates of work progress and initiate corrective actions
    * Responsible for timesheet authorization for assigned contractors.
