    Manpower is looking for a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative! As a Customer Service Representative, you will support the insurance membership line of business.

    This is a work-from-home position! For this position, you must be available between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm Monday - Friday EST and MUST be located in North Carolina!

    Job Description:

    Process new member enrollments, member change requests, and terminations. May handle some non-standard enrollments.
    Perform standard and moderate complexity group level enrollment for health and ancillary products.
    Maintain membership records.
    Address standard issues related to the administration of eligibility of subscribers/members based on federal/state guidelines and external and internal governing agencies.
    Process billing inquiries and reconciliation. Research billing errors and perform or initiate reverse transactions as necessary.
    Research and respond to enrollment errors by telephone or in writing, communicate errors, corrective actions being taken, and/or policies and procedures being enacted.
    Receive and place telephone calls to answer questions or obtain information relating to membership and enrollment, group/individual records, and group/individual contracts. Handle general billing and enrollment inquiries from brokers, benefits administrators, and members.
    Process back-end error reports for electronic enrollment
    Hiring Requirements:

    High school diploma or it's equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
    Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
    Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    Works well under immediate supervision.
    A strong understanding of Microsoft Office
    Strong understanding of Problem Resolution Skills
    A strong sense of urgency and multitasking
    Hiring Preferences:

    Prior experience with Power MHS, Billing, Magic, Service First, Seibel, MACESS, Amisys, and/or Mobius preferred.
    Prior experience with customer service in health insurance
    Experience using Microsoft Office products.
    Able to format errors in excel or HTML
    Excellent attention to detail
    Excellent problem solving and research skills
    Reconciliation skills
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively

    Job Characteristics:
    The primary focus of this position is to efficiently enter orders, service requests, delivery and customer inquiries in an inbound call center environment. Typically responds to 160-190 calls daily from customer and field and sales associates primarily in two divisions in a manner that maintains good customer relations. Completes necessary records to document inquiries. May assist with new employee coaching.

    What You Will Do:
    Process 60-100 inbound calls per day
    Manage outbound calls, depending upon volume
    Must possess solid problem solving & interpersonal skills
    Handle all calls in a prompt and courteous manner
    Maintain working knowledge of products, accounts, Ecolab representatives, tools and dispensing systems
    Complete a call on screen accurately while speaking with the customer
    Process orders, literature requests, and applies information to our customers
    Develop technical and mechanical proficiency to assist customers and field staff with dispenser system issues

    Education/Work Experience:
    Requires secondary diploma or equivalent.
    One year customer service experience in retail, restaurant, call center or professional business environment is preferred.

    Independence Level/Reports to:
    Under immediate supervision. Authority to take action is limited to established policy. Refers more difficult quality, service or application questions to higher level customer service staff or other appropriate internal staff. Normally reports to Customer Service Supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High school qualifications or equivalent
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook)
    Experience using Customer Service software

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree completed or in process
    Ability to accurately type a minimum of 25 words per minimum
    Ability to interact professionally with others and work independently in a fast-paced environment
    Prior experience utilizing a multi-line telephone system
    Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Highly dependable team player
    Ability to prioritize workload and complete responsibilities on time
