    Certified Electrician need for busy Manufacturing Plant in Anacortes, WA

    In this position your job will intail Installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

    Pay: $25.00-$32.00/hour or can be discussed during your interview

    Schedule : (must be flexible) and will be discussed in interview

    Essential Functions:
    Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
    Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
    Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as Maintenance Machine Repairer and Maintenance Tool Maker, to diagnose malfunction.
    Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
    Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
    Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
    Pushes buttons and presses keys on robot controller, teach pendant, and programmable controller to program automated machinery, such as robots, to operate automated machinery, to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs.

    Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    Journeyman level or higher competency.
    Certified in 'HOT' work.
    Certified in application of ARC FLASH controls.

    Work Environment:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.     --Inventory Control
    --Confirm all parts are cleaned and ID tags are attached as they are put into kits
    --Use the business system (with a scanner) to locate parts as necessary
    --Uncrate materials using hand and power tools as required
    --Use various hand and power tools correctly and safely to assemble sub-assemblies and products.
    --Forklift experience is a plus, but not needed
    --Lift up to 50 pounds.
    --Ability to crouch, bend, and climb a ladder to put coverings on product.
    --Safety toed shoes that comply with acceptable ASTM/ANSI safety standards .
    --Good attitude and proven good attendance record.
