    The position will report to Engineering Manager along with other degreed engineers, and the Design Manager. The primary responsibility is to manage all E&I elements for capital projects from engineering to commissioning within the budget and schedule, and according to internal expectations. Direct reports for this position may include electrical engineer, instrumentation engineer, instrumentation technicians, DCS specialists, electrical designers, and instrument designers. Some are direct employees, and some are contract employees.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:







    * Overall management of the local E&I group. Ensure there are sufficient resources to meet the cost and schedule objectives of each project (from engineering to commissioning). Be active in the development and mentoring of the staff.
    * Coordination with other company counterparts in updating or establishing relevant E&I standards .
    * Project lead for those projects with an E&I focus (e.g. 15kV distribution, DCS, networking, etc.).

    Job Responsibilities:
    Automation technicians perform routine and emergency diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor automated systems, isolate problems, and perform repairs. For example, CAE technicians at CNP use weights or specialized instruments to ensure the machines are functioning properly and to design and legal specifications.
