    Key role responsibilities
    * Data Entry - Repetitive motion - Required - Typically 2.5 hours mixed throughout day.
    * Put away - Returning product to shelf (rack). Requires estimated combination of 80% forklift use and 20% hand stacking boxes weighing 10 - 110 pounds. Heavy boxes are not manually lifted, rather repositioned without lifting onto a pallet or shelf. Use of RF equipment.
    * Picking - Removing lightweight (<40 lb.) components from storage shelves at higher frequency using an order picker at heights up to 20 feet above grade. E-Reels (boxed) pulled with forklift on pallet and transferred to packing transition point. Pneumatic hoist is available as needed. E-reel boxes are labeled with weight.
    * Packing - Includes stacking e-reels (10 - 110 lb.) with pneumatic hoist and using lift tables at transition points. Also includes manually placing small items into boxes and over-packing into larger cartons.
    * Shipping - Primarily labeling and processing shipment in ERP system. Light computer is required work to process a shipment using a combination of mouse clicks (59%), scans (5%), and keystrokes (36%). On average 20 - 50 shipments are processed per day, per shipping operator. An average shipment takes 1 minute to process.
    * Spooling - Transferring e-reels (10-110 lb.) from pallets to pay-off equipment using pneumatic hoist. Manually traversing up to 20 cuts (~3 minutes per cut) a day. This requires standing and light cable guidance onto smaller reel. Transfer finished e-reels into boxes with pneumatic hoist.
    * Staging - Finished shipment staged by forklift, hand-stack, and/or use of pneumatic hoist onto pallets.

    * Cycle Counter
    POSITION SUMMARY:
    This is a Finance position responsible for performing cycle counts, compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the establishment and/or items to be returned. Researches root causes for count discrepancies. Performs quality checks and supports the product recall process. Also serves as Will-call Clerk on scheduled Saturdays.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    o Ensure integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory via cycle counting and other duties assigned
    o Cycle counts the warehouse a minimum of four times a year, including all pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues
    o Performs quality checks around date sensitive, slow moving and obsolete items via interaction with Merchandising. Performs recoup function.
    o Research cause of weight variances, receiving/put away/letdown issues, and damaged product in the slots from warehouse moves
    o Proactively checks FIFO items for proper rotation
    o Verify reserves are properly recorded and verify the count of each reserve pallet
    o Verify put-away and transfer process performed by the day and night personnel
    o Initiate and document product transfer from the cooler to the freezer
    o Review standard management reports and research causes of inventory shrink
    o Coordinate will call orders when scheduled

    Our growing Brampton client who is a leader in the production of baked goods is looking for Forklift Drivers to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years related experience and will be certified or in-house certified on Counter Balance, Reach, and Dock Stocker.
    The following are the responsibilities:
    Load, unload and move products and materials by hand pallet truck or with basic material handling equipment (MHE)
    Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
    Pick orders and put-away into inventory
    Weigh materials and goods
    Make labels and attach to product
    Wrap, pack and unpack, sort, and stack product
    Maintain and organize inventory
    Operate computerized inventory control systems / RF scan guns
    Maintain cleanliness in the aisles
    May be assigned to Inventory Control and carry out tasks requested by DC Manager / Supervisor
    Observes all safety rules in performance of their duties.
    Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
    Fast-paced environment,
    Repetitive tasks such as:
    Handling heavy loads, ie lifting full cartons / case packs from pallet to location or vice versa
    Manual dexterity,
    Attention to detail,
    Hand-eye co-ordination,
    Bending,
    Crouching,
    Kneeling, and
    Scanning
    Standing on Reach-truck / Walkie equipment for extended periods
    Sitting on MHE for extended periods
    Minimum Qualifications:
    High school diploma
    Minimum two (2) years experience on Industrial MHE such as: Order Picker / Reach Truck / Forklift
    Valid certification for Forklift / Raymond Reach-truck / Walkie and Counterbalance trucks.
    First Aid and WHMIS certification will all be seen as assets, though not required.
    Other Vehicle, Machinery and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Strapping machines, Pallet lifters, Shrink wrappers, Industrial Conveyors is desired.
