We are seeking a dynamic Continuous Improvement Implementation Leader to work in partnership with one of the world's largest, global supplier of automotive safety systems. With more than 70,000 associates in 27 countries, this manufacturer is passionate about their vision of Saving More Lives.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll facilitate the effective implementation of continuous improvement initiatives at all levels production.
This Role Offers:
* $70,000 - $90,000 starting salary

Key Accountability's:
* Implement, building and improve systems and processes to optimize and streamline operations
* Coach, mentor and monitor team members within all levels of production
* Plan and coordinate various implementation and training initiatives
* Facilitate continuous improvement/kaizen methodology and problem-solving workshops
* Collect, organize, and consolidate data, monitor and report on progress
* Foster and facilitate a positive, collaborative working culture
* Manage projects/initiatives, work with management on day to day directives
* Manage schedules/timelines and completion of projects to meet targets and goals
* Request and coordinate resources (people, budget, etc.) as needed
* Administration & Other Functions
You Offer:
* Post- secondary completion or applicable training (ie; Business, Communications, Project or Quality Management, Lean or Continuous Improvement Training)
* Exposure to manufacturing sector (kaizen, lean principles & methodologies) a significant asset
* Demonstrated work experience in a change management/process improvement or operational excellence role
* Common sense approach to business & production operations ie: "if I do this and this but not this, what is the end-result?"
* Hands-on, involvement in all aspects continuous improvement - Your are a "doer" not a director or dictator
* Outgoing, enthusiastic, approachable demeanor
* A commitment to continuous improvement, streamlining of processes, creating efficiency's
* Accountability and ability to hold others accountable in accordance with their respective jobs
* Advanced communication skills (verbal, written)
* Effective negotiator, tactful, diplomatic, consistent, and fair
