    In this position, you will be working in a production area processing poultry products. This position requires working with raw and/or cooked poultry. Typical assignments may include deboning, cutting, eviscerating, marination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap and/or sanitation. Usually works five to six days a week ; overtime may be required based on production needs.

    Pay & Schedule:

    $14.50/hr. Overtime pay - after 8 hours/day + after 40 hours/week.

    Shift starts at 7:00am (8-10 hour shift) Monday-Friday unless there is more overtime offered on Saturdays.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Predominantly work with knives to de-bone chicken legs..
    Must be able to use a knife, full time, and be able to keep the knife sharp.
    Must be able to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment.
    Must be able to perform the position to produce product to specifications.
    Work for a full shift from a standing position.
    Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, and hands.

    Environment:

    Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
    May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
    May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
    May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
    May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
    Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
    Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
    Stand for several hours.
    Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
    This is a temp to hire position after 30 days. While working for Manpower for the 30 days you will be paid $13.37 per hour and we pay you overtime after 8 hours worked each day. Manpower pays weekly on Fridays.

    - Removes pallet wrap, strapping, twine etc. from pallets so the pallets are ready to be depalletized
    - Removes empty pallets from the unloading area
    - Supplies caps to capping areas and manually dumps appropriate caps into cap hoppers
    - Stages pallets for palletizing at the finished end of the bottling lines
    - Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures and that all forklift safety rules are followed.
    - Performs daily Pre-shift forklift checks
    - Keeps forklift and work area clean and clear of obstructions and hazards
    - Other duties as assigned
    What do you bring to the role?
    - 3 Years' experience driving Counter Balance Forklift
    - Required to be in a standing position for an eight-hour shift
    - Work outside normal business hours is required on occasion
    - Must be able to lift up to 30 kilograms
    - Experience working in a production facility an asset

    Job Responsibilities:
    * Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.* Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.* Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.* Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.* Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.* Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.* Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.* Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.* Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.* Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

    * Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.* Team player and detail oriented.* Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

    Education/Experience:
    * High school diploma or GED required.
