    Position Summary:
    Level one shipping/receiving clerks working under direct supervision to complete basic shipping and receiving tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, verifying packaging slips and order contents, performing visual inspection, as well as packaging product for either outside processing or finished goods. Level one shipping clerks will demonstrate basic packaging skills such as part protection, verify packaging information, boxing, taping, wrapping, stenciling, banding, weighing, etc. All shipping and rec. clerks will be forklift certified and may be expected to demonstrate basic computer skills. Typically, 0-1 years of experience.

    Building upon level one, level two shipping/receiving clerks work with minimal supervision to complete all shipping and receiving tasks. Level two clerks will demonstrate an intermediate ability to aid in developing new packaging processes and procedures and determine work priority based on the shipping schedule to prepare loads for pickup. Typically, 1-2 years of experience.

    Building upon the level two, level three clerks work without supervision to set the shipping and receiving plan for the day which serves to dispatch drivers and provides the shipping department with overall guidance. Level three shipping clerks will demonstrate an ability to create and process shipping documents working with the ERP/MRP system, as well as provide leadership and training to lower level employees. Level three clerks will also develop packaging processes for new parts, trouble shoot issues as well as provide a level of customer service as necessary. Typically, 3-5 years of experience.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
    * Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
    * Communicate with Shop Leads daily for task assignments
    * Prepare completed products for shipment
    * Clean, box, band, and organize pallets and/or supplies received

    If you are mechanically inclined and have experience working with hand tools and/or pneumatic tools, then we have an amazing opportunity for you!

    Manpower is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in Fuquay-Varina. At this facility, they are looking for individuals for production-based assembly roles to assist in building various models of commercial mowing and golf equipment.

    These can be temporary seasonal positions that typically run from the fall through early spring or summer (usually ends in May or June). Workers who perform well are invited to come back to work there again for the following season. However, anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 of workers will even be brought on as permanent employees at the end of the season!

    1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
