    * Remove/place full pallet from/to Scissor lift and place in designated area for packout/sterilization after verification of quantity. Verify to ensure two sterilizer tags are attached.
    * Inspect bags and cobalt chloride cloths after the leak detection cycle. Inspect outer surface and closures for defects and proper identity.
    * Return good units to conveyor line and set rejects aside noting cause for rejection on the reject record.

The position will involve set up, adjusting, maintaining, and configuring processing equipment according to assigned specifications and regular communication with production personnel and supervisors and the completion of required paperwork.

    Job Description:

    Turns on all support equipment necessary to run the facility as needed.
    Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to insure defect free work.
    Performs minor package change-overs on equipment as required
    Conducts repairs on machinery or other tasks as/if needed.
    Responsible for the filling operation; filling bottles, capping bottles
    Responsible for hot filling process; operation of pasteurizer
    Monitor temperature set points during pasteurization to ensure critical control points are met
    Watch flow of product; i.e. batched product into filler.
    Must ensure closures and caps are properly applied.
    Verify flavor and size according to schedule.
    Report any major defects to the Production Manager.
    Monitor the machine while running. Check to see that all bottles filled to the correct level and are capped properly.
    Clear your machine of all products at end of each run and at the end of your shift; able to do line flush during flavor change and clean in place (CIP) at the end of the shift
    Must follow the work rules at all times. GMP compliance MUST be adhered to at all times.
    Is responsible to report any quality issue Production Manager.
    Assist in relieving other operators for lunch breaks.
    Keep work area clean at all times.
    Shut down all equipment at end of shift if line is going down for the day.
    Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.
    Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities

    · Must follow HACCP and Quality Plans at all times during production.

    · Must follow company GMPs and personal hygiene practices at all times.

    · Must inform management immediately if they see any issue that may compromise the safety or quality of the product.

    The successful candidate will be an experienced Machinist in a manufacturing facility. Proven ability to set-up and operate equipment, adherence to Safety, Quality and Product specifications are required.

    Must have experience with Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinders, and Roll Formers.

    First Shift: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; $21/hour
