    SUMMARY

    Perform electro-mechanical production assembly work according to engineering drawings, product specifications and quality standards. Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for his/her own quality of work and must meet company and ISO standards.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.

    Fasten cables and wiring.
    Must have basic understanding of electrical test equipment (megger, hi-pot, multi-meter, etc…)
    Must be able to read pneumatic diagrams

    Wiring harnessing, crimping, soldering, wire routing, etc.
    Must be able to train new employees in accordance with work standards/instructions.

    What you'll be doing:

    ·Follows production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain efficiency levels.

    .Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

    ·Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

    ·Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

    ·Verifies specifications by measuring completed component to assure quality product.

    ·Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

    ·Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; notifies supervisor if repairs are needed.

    ·Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with housekeeping procedures, rules, and regulations.

    ·Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notifies supervisor of potential shortages.

    ·Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

    ·Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    ·Follows and implements 5S techniques.

    Who were looking for:

    · Minimum (1) years previous experience as an assembler

    · Working with Power Tools is a plus

    · Industrial Assembly Experience a plus

    The Job:
    *Inspecting products to ensure quality
    *Placing labels, tying tags, and completing other finish work as needed
    *Using pallet trucks to move finished product
    *Assisting at various stations on the production line as needed
    *Maintaining a clean workspace

    Skills/Experience Needed:
    *Previous manufacturing experience
    *Ability to operate electric and manual pallet jacks is a plus
    *Manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination
    *Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 30lbs, bend frequently, and stand for several hours at a time
