Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Material Handler Associate to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping/Receiving to perform either receiving, distribution, sorting, and maintenance of inventory items. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, taking initiative, and willingness to learn which will align successfully in the organization, applying attention to detail and documenting findings. 

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Largo, FL

Pay Range: $19.00 - $19.95 / Hour

Schedule: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

What’s the Job?

Controls and maintains the flow of material though the storeroom though production or distribution. Assists in supporting cycle count program and performing cycle counts. May coordinate activities of the storeroom or shipping clerk. May contact vendor and prepare customer orders for shipment. Follows all applicable released procedures and documents results on applicable forms. Receive incoming material into the facility in accordance with procedures.

What’s Needed?

Intermediate software application skills required Must have experience with Electronic Inventory Management Systems (MRP / ERP). Must be comfortable with being trained to operate forklift. Previous experience is strongly preferred. Must be able to lift 38 lbs on a routine basis. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 65 lbs.

Pay rate: $18.50/ hour - A/C for day shift, $18.50 + 16% differential for B/D night shift.

What is the job?

Perform a wide range of duties such as mixing raw material, machine operations, product inspection, product packaging, etc. Assure that all products are labeled correctly, and Lot codes are on each product and ingredient. Must be able to assemble and disassemble machinery. Must follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when cleaning and or scraping the Follow the supervisor’s instructions on what products they are running, and the containers needed for that run. Able to work weekends, shift hours or overtime as needed
