    Qualifications:
    * Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
    * Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    * Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
    * Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
    * High attention to detail and accuracy

    Position Responsibilities

    The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Assistant Controller. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, and maintaining transactional records related to Accounts Payable.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
    Accounts payable invoice entry (average 150-250 per day), performing Oracle 3-way match process ensuring purchase order, order receipt and invoice match.
    Accounts payable invoice entry of all non- purchase order invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring appropriate approvals and account numbers on each before entering into the system. Approvals are per the company's delegation of authority documentation.
    Monitors accounts payable invoice holds and aging to ensure invoices and expense reports are complete in the system and paid accurately and timely.
    Prepares accounts payable payment batches for e-check, ach, wire, and manual checks; Obtains the batch approvals and verifies Oracle and/or bank completion.
    Investigates accounts payable inquires and takes appropriate action, responding to vendor or interacting with purchasing agents or other Vapor Bus management.
    Works with the Controller and Assistant Controller during periods of cash restriction. Reviews vendor open invoices and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted.
    Assists in accounting close process by ensuring all invoices and expense reports are entered into the system before the month cutoff and holds are resolved.
    Responsible for file maintenance and retention of accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and check registers.
    Understanding of fully integrated ERP systems (Oracle R12 or similar software). Oracle is a major PLUS.
    Experience with high volume Accounts Payable invoice and payment processing.
    Ability to work with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines.
    Adherence to policies and procedures.
    Interfaces with all levels of management.
    Good written and oral communication skills.

     Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding assembly procedures.

     Will provide support to project teams whose objectives may be: quality improvement, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, reliability improvement, increase operational efficiency, or new product introduction.
     Assists in creating and updating process and product documentation.

    Performs electro-mechanical assembly of flow cytometers, sub-assemblies and related medical device products. Follows established methods and procedures in performing, assembly of optical, mechanical, fluidic and electronic components and assemblies.     Essential Functions:
    * Performs instrument assembly by following released procedures
    * Performs in process inspection to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
    * Generates required documentation to complete the Device History Record (DHR)
    * May require engineering support to resolve complex and unique problems.
    * Must be able to read and understand: assembly instructions, work orders, Bills of Materials, Standard Operation Procedures, and all other documentation used to control our products and processes.
    * Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding assembly procedures.

    Description:

    Perform a wide range of skills including assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. Perform assembly required for test preparation and final inspection. Use established power checking procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders, supply materials to work cells. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.

    A. Perform assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information.
    B. Follow established procedures/work instructions for assigned function.
    C. Handle materials in accordance with established procedures.
    D. Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment in area of assignment as required.
    E. Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
    F. Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
    G. Handle all finished products for shipment; call carriers and load materials into carrier's vehicles.
