    Manpower Staffing is now hiring experienced Forklift Drivers/Operators for an established company.

    Pay:
    $15.00/ hour

    Schedules:
    We currently have day shift (4am-1230pm, 7am-330pm) and night shift openings (5pm-130am) but if you work a night shift you must be able to complete training on the day shift (730am-400pm) then move to your selected schedule.

    We are looking to hire people who are interested in working full-time, long term positions.

    · Must have 1 year experience (forklift certification not required because this client will re certify you).

    Job Summary: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties

    Essential Functions:

    · Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

    · Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.

    · Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

    · Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.

    · Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

    · Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.

    · Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.

    Must have electric pallet jack experience or be trainable.

    Main Duties:
    Process outbound shipments
    Pull, pack, fulfill and ship
    Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
    Make sure refrigerator and freezers are organized, clean, and ready for the day
    Prepare and harvest ice from large freezers into shipping freezers
    Prepare cardboard boxes for the day's shipments
    Clean/maintain orderliness of shipping office and cooler stations

    Secondary Duties:
    Organize shipping cooler at the beginning of each shipping period for pulling product to ship
    Ensure that there is always more than enough ice for the next day
    Defrost freezers when necessary
    Assure sufficient product and supply inventory in collaboration with shipping and production teams

    Supervised/evaluated by Assistant Operating Manager, Office Manager and/or designee.
    Works directly under Shipping Department Lead, Production Lead, and other Pellet Food Production Attendant.
