    Job Description:
    The main responsibilities will be to pull/ wrap/ grade pre milled lumber
    Maximum weight to life is 50 pounds but will be consistently be lifting 15-30 lbs.

    Requirements:
    Must have reliable transportation
    Must be able to lift, bend, stand, stoop, push and pull (above shoulders) for full shift
    Must be able to work in a loud, dusty environment
    Must be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions, and environments in a safe and productive manner

    Skills

    Key responsibilities
    1. The Field Scientist Post Doc will coordinate execution of FS field research protocols across multiple locations at the Stoneville Research Center. The Post Doc will execute day to day activities to ensure high quality data collection from field trials designed to characterize the efficacy and agronomic of lead pipeline or licensed pre-commercial transgenic traits, as well as transgenic events for novel traits. Other project areas include efficacy, crop safety and yield impact of other traits, crop protection, seed treatments and biological systems. The FS will serve as the key regulatory contact, leading compliance activities for regulated transgenic research at the Research Center.
    2. Flawlessly execute experiments to completion, according to specific protocols, exercising independent judgment and discretion as appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, the knowledge of general agronomic practices, crop protection application and evaluation procedures, crop scouting, implementation of new technologies, computer skills, and skills in experimental design and analysis. Use Corteva proprietary software for initiation, mapping, tracking and analysis of experiments, and communicate data and information as appropriate to all managers of experiments.
    3. Participates on cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams within Corteva charged with the planning, management and execution of advancement/development plans for pre-commercial transgenic events for agronomic, insect and disease control and herbicide tolerance in key crops.
    4. Communicate and work jointly with successful product development at the Research Center, contributing as available to the Research Center team. The FS Post Doc will contribute to Research Center activities and communicate with other team members to ensure the success of all research programs at that center.
    5. Responsible for continuously updating their own scientific/agronomic background in research areas relevant to transgenic trait characterization and crop protection product development.
    6. Hire, orient and supervise employees, implementing and monitoring safe working practices.

    What will you bring:
    * Degree or diploma with minimum 5 years' experience in crop inputs operations, logistics and inventory management is required
    * Knowledge of fertilizer is required.
    * Experience working with NH3 (Ammonia) would be considered an asset.
    * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team work skills.
    * Basic computer skills.
    * Strong mechanical aptitude is an asset.

    Packers will be responsible for unpacking/unboxing the frozen packaged products and placing them on racks for defrosting. When product is defrosted it will need to be removed from the thawing racks and the outer plastic removed and placed into plastic containers to be sent to the cut shop (specialized cuts).

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Able to life 50 lbs or more without assistance
    Able to stand your full 8hr shifts
    Able to lift, bend, stoop, push and pull without any restrictions
    Able to work with fresh meat, not have an easy stomach as it is fresh butchered meat

    Working environment:
    This client smokes the meat after it has thawed so you will be working in an environment with fresh meat and be able to handle a strong smoked smell. You will be working with Ham, bacon and sausage products.
