What you'll be doing:
* Must be familiar with Geometric Dimensioning &Tolerance in accordance with ANSIY14.5M-1994.
* Highly experienced in Blueprint and Specification reading and interpretation to inspect complex machined parts.
* Current familiarity with MIL-SPECS
* Experience with reading Purchase Orders issued to suppliers for materials.
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance Provisions issued to suppliers
* Experienced and knowledgeable in the use of common measuring devices, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Scales, Optical Comparators, Plug & Ring gauges and Tape Measures. Knowledge of hand tool calibration a plus.
* Must be familiar with common inspection techniques and standard shop math.
* Must be familiar with reviewing Certificates of Conformance, Manufacturing certs, material and plating certs, Technical Data Sheets, Dates of Expiration, Date of Manufacture, Date Codes and Lot numbers.

* Familiarity with inspection sample plans in accordance with ANSI Z 1.4.
* AS9100 Quality Management Systems-Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations.
* Experience with First Article reporting in accordance with AS9102.
IPC-J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies.
* IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements for Cable/Wire Harness Assemblies.
* IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies.
* Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
* Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
