    We are currently recruiting for a Camp Director position for one of our clients, a national telecommunications company who will be hosting a Summer Camp on the lower Sunshine Cost of BC.

    Their remote property is accessible by boat or seaplane only. The boat ride (provided by the camp) is approximately 30 minutes from the Government Dock in Sechelt BC.

    What's in it for you?
    - Start date: June 25, 2020
    - End date: August 29, 2020
    - Minimum daily rate of $170.00
    - Accommodation, transportation and meals provided by the camp

    The Job:
    - Providing leadership and guidance to all Camp Staff, assisting them in providing positive life-enhancing experiences for our campers.
    - Work as a member of the community and staff team.
    - Responsible for overseeing the camp program and flow of camp.
    - Assist Village Leaders in supporting staff in development and implementation of lesson plans suitable to the demographic of the campers.
    - Review submitted inventories for accuracy.
    - When not actively facilitating a session, assume the role of a cabin leader and participate with the campers.
    - Assist in overall cleanliness of Camp and perform Night Duty, as required on a rotational basis.
    - Report any accidents/incidents to the Camp Director and First Aid Attendant
    - Other duties may be assigned as required.

    What you bring to the job:
    - Have a minimum of 35-hour Wilderness First Aid
    - Have a minimum of Bronze Cross
    - 2 years of camp experience, supervisory experience an asset
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnarable Persons Search

    - Create, develop, and implement lesson plans suitable to the demographic of the campers.
    - Provide an inventory of all program items at the beginning and end of the camp season.
    - Supervision and care of campers, at all times.
    - When not actively facilitating a session, assume the role of a cabin leader and participate with the campers.
    - Assist in the overall cleanliness of Camp and perform Night Duty, as required on a rotational basis.
    - Communicate on a regular basis with the Village Leaders
    - Report any accidents/incidents to the Camp Director and First Aid Attendant
    - Other duties may be assigned as required.

    What you bring to the job:
    - Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certificates
    - 35 hour Wilderness First Aid (preferred)
    - Comfortable in the discipline of gardening
    - Knowledge of local flora, fauna and wildlife.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Paddle Canada Certification (Canoe, Kayak, SUP)
    - National Lifeguard (NL) with Waterfront option, an asset
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    The Job:
    - Provide fun, healthy farm-to-table meals and snacks to campers and staff during camp sessions on a rotation
    - Maintain and order inventory of pantry, fridge and freezers
    - Liaise with the Camp Director and Wellness Coordinator to be aware of all dietary requirements
    - Ensure that BC Health Standards are being met
    - Liaise with the local Health Inspector (when required)
    - Maintain the overall operation, maintenance and cleanliness of the Kitchen

    What you bring to the job:
    - Experience in preparing and serving meals to meet special dietary requirements
    - Ability to work within a budget and maintain inventory
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Clear Criminal Record Check
    - FOODSAFE Level 2 (required)
    - A Standard First Aid with CPR 'C' certification
