    * Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer unusual conditions to supervisor. Maintain work area in proper manner.

    * Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures.

    Slide Die/Cam Die Operators and Assemblers
    * Perform highly repetitive machine operations to attach bar and pin stock assembly of various chain links. Work from blueprints. Some setups, adjustments, and minor repairs made by operator. Insert pins in chain links, load bars in cam blocks, trip machine.
    * Check work for long or even pins. Continuously monitor links of chain to meet blueprint specifications.

    Automatic Operator
    * Perform highly repetitive machine operations to make component parts. Work from instructions. Set-ups and adjustments made by others.
    * Load finished work into bin.
    * First and second stages to make single links. Third and fourth stages to make link sections----2060, 555, 550, 560 and 620 links.

    Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    Language Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and complete necessary production forms. Ability to speak effectively with fellow employees and/or customers.
    Mathematical Skills:
    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Manpower is seeking Production Specialist for our client that manufactures material lifts, aerial work platforms, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, telehandlers, scissor lifts and self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms.

    Location: Redmond, WA Work
    Hours: Mon-Thurs 5am -3:30pm. 10 hour work day.
    Pay Rate: $18.04
    $500 Retention Bonus after working 90 days.

    Summary:
    The entry level is for new hires to learn the product line, manufacturing process and philosophy, and perform certain workstations within required cycle times. The second level requires the ability to complete sub-assemblies within specific tolerances, assembly of components requiring three or more sub-steps, and use of all hand and power-assisted tools. The third level would require the ability to perform satisfactorily at all workstations, read blueprints and schematic drawings, identify problems, and instruct new employees.

    Responsibilities:
    * Basic knowledge in the usage of common hand tools, hand held power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools such as a ratchet.
    * Requires the ability to perform the various aspects of the job.
    * Requires sufficient reasoning ability to understand detailed, yet repetitive, written and oral instructions, and solve straightforward, immediate problems.
    * Requires the ability to perform arithmetic calculations and read and record detailed measurements, counts, distances, and times.
    * Requires the ability to learn and understand safety, continuous quality, and just-in-time within a reasonable period of time.
    * Basic understanding of assembly processes sufficient to organize, examine, and assemble equipment containing up to 12 pieces of material (structure, fittings, brackets, bolts).
    * Requires ambulatory ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, bend, and crawl on a continuous basis.
    * Requires the ability to lift, pull, push, and guide medium weight objects (20-50 pounds) on a continuous basis; heavy weight objects (50-100 pounds) on a recurring basis.
    * Requires sufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to guide objects into specific placement or alignment, make intricate connections, and make precise measurements.
