As a maintenance mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery maintenance as well as preventative maintenance with industrial manufacturing machinery which will align successfully in the organization.

What you will be doing: 

Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability and skills and carry out daily maintenance activities, plant rounds, preventative maintenance, plant calls and continual improvement assignments.  Must have general maintenance troubleshooting skills and equipment component knowledge to properly diagnose equipment failures.  Demonstrate ability to properly disconnect and reconnect DC, AC, motion control and Wye-Delta Motors.  Demonstrate the ability to use a voltmeter properly to identify voltage, amperage and resistance of an electrical circuit. While utilizing electrical schematics.  Able to distinguish and identify chain, sprockets, gearbox types and belts.  Demonstrate ability to weld metal. stick or heliarc.  Demonstrate ability to preform basic copper soldering and use oxy/acetylene torch in cutting and brazing.  Demonstrate basic refrigeration comprehension and understanding of refrigeration fundamentals, components and their functions. 

Who we are looking for: 

5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic working with industrial equipment.  Must be able to work around electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and thermodynamic equipment safely.  Fluent in written and verbal English.  Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move 50 pounds.

What’s the Job?

Candidate will work in the laboratory.  Candidates have the flexibility to work in 1st shift ,2nd shift and 3rd shift.  Prepare and install test units in the test facility in order to simulate field installation conditions.  This includes but is not limited to duct connection, electrical and gas connections, data acquisition instrument installation, etc.  Run safety and certification tests per Engineering instruction and test standard requirements.  Analyze test data and make modifications and adaptations to the test unit based upon analysis of the data.  Utilize computer software programs as required to run the test station, conduct testing, and collect test data.  

What’s Needed?

1-4 Years suggested minimum experience.  Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as reading wiring diagrams, modifying unit wiring and controls, instrumentation, electromechanical troubleshooting, and modification of prototypes.  Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on analysis.  Ability to lift equipment, compressors, units, motors, sheet metal parts etc.  2 year degree, HVAC license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Maintenance Tech will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical, electronic, PLCs, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment (such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, automated lubrication systems, grinders, hydraulic hot forming presses, and support equipment). Initiate improvements and permanent corrective actions requiring electromechanical layout and installation. Serve as a collaborative resource for the maintenance staff, managers, supervisors, and engineers. Must have a general knowledge of electrical, pneumatice, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance. Must be self-motivated and able to work under time constraints to meet production needs.

RAISON DU POSTE
Le/la Préposé(e) au service a pour principales tâches l’installation et le balancement des pneus. Il s’assure d’effectuer un travail rapide et d’une très grande qualité afin de garantir la satisfaction des clients.
RESPONSABILITÉS CONFIÉES
Retirer les roues du véhicule ;
Démonter le pneu de la jante à l’aide de l’équipement pneumatique ;
Remplacer le pneu et le monter sur la jante ;
Effectuer l’équilibrage de la roue ;
Installer la roue sur le véhicule ;
Inspecter visuellement les composantes de l’alignement et du freinage ;

Quel est le travail qui vous attend ?
•    Examiner les rapports de dommages, les bons de réparation et les estimations des coûts de réparation et planifier les travaux à effectuer.
•    Éliminer les bosses, les boucles et autres défauts à l'aide de blocs et de marteaux.
•    Retirer les ailes, les panneaux et les grilles endommagés à l'aide de clés et d'une torche coupante et boulonner ou souder les pièces de rechange en place.
•    Redresser les cadres pliés à l'aide de l'équipement de traction et d'ancrage du cadre.
•    Limer, meuler et poncer les surfaces du corps réparées à l'aide d'outils manuels et électriques.
•    Réparer et remplacer les composants de verre tels que les pare-brises, les fenêtres et les toits ouvrants.
•    Tester les performances des équipements réparés et garantir le respect des normes de qualité en matière de restauration et de réparation, afin de réduire et d'éliminer les reprises et les réclamations de garantie.

Quels sont les prérequis?

•    Diplôme d'études secondaires ou collégiales en réparation de carrosserie automobile
•    Au moins 2-3 ans d'expérience en réparation de carrosserie et ou peinture
•    Posséder un permis de conduire valide
•    Capacité à communiquer efficacement à l’oral et à l’écrit
