    Quality Specialist

    Manpower is currently seeking a Quality Specialist to fill a contract position with a major gas client in Chatham, ON.

    Responsibilities:
    * Engage with Project Teams and prepare Project Quality Management Plans for construction quality activities.
    * Initiate the quality engagement checklist tool for project quality planning with the Project teams.
    * Complete project quality resource estimates and manpower scheduling.
    * Perform quality reviews on drawings, ITP's, Contractor quality plans and other documents.
    * Participate in request for proposal meetings.
    * Coordinate and perform offsite fabrication quality surveillance and inspection activities.
    * Develop quality assurance process and record assessment plans for construction activities.
    * Schedule and perform process and records assessments and audits for construction activities.
    * Review and distribute process and record assessment findings and deficiency lists and facilitate timely and satisfactory resolution of deficiencies, investigate quality issues and ensure timely closure.
    * Monitor and report on Contractor quality programs and plans and follow up when required with corrective and improvement actions.
    * Support quality issues management tools such as non-conformance reports, opportunities for improvement, quality incident notifications and change management tools.
    * Provide Quality subject matter support to the project teams for construction, materials, welding, pressure testing, coating, civil, electrical etc.
    * Completes regularly scheduled quality reporting requirements

    Required Education / Experience:
    * 15 years of combined Oil and Gas Construction and Quality experience.
    * 10 years of pipeline industry experience in industrial facility and mainline construction, Inspection, quality assurance and audit and assessment experience would be an asset.
    * Completion of a Degree or Technical Certification in mechanical trades, engineering or a combination of related post-secondary degrees.
    * CWB Level II Welding Inspector and or equivalent AWS CWI - API 570 certification.
    * Advanced level understanding of engineering and construction drawings, materials, records and related documentation.
    * Advanced technical and working knowledge of design and construction standards, CSA Z662 Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems and the Canadian Energy Regulator Onshore Pipeline Regulations and associated Provincial and regional codes and requirements.
    * Ability to comprehend and apply Federal and Provincial regulations applicable to pipeline construction.
    * API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector certification.
    * NACE CIP Level II Coating Inspection is an asset.
    * ISO 9001 Audit training is an asset.
    * Time management skills and the ability to manage diverse projects and processes with conflicting deadlines.
    * Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with personal at all levels of the organization.

    Integrity Data Technician

    Manpower is currently seeking an Integrity Data Technician to fill a contract position with a major pipeline company in Calgary, AB.

    The Integrity Data Technician provides technical support to the Facility Integrity Management Program with day-to-day pressure equipment integrity data entry and maintenance in the pressure equipment integrity database.

    Responsibilities:
    *Input pressure vessel, boiler, pressure safety valve (PSV), piping, and atmospheric storage tank integrity static data onto templates to be uploaded into Visions
    *Upload relevant equipment drawings and manufacturer data report (MDR) from Electronic Document Management (EDM) system into Visions and link them to the respective equipment
    *Digitize relevant historical paper copies of documents and records into electronic formats ready for data upload into Visions when required
    *Upload reviewed inspection and NDE reports into Visions and link them to the respective equipment
    *Input non-destruction examination (NDE) data, including condition monitoring location (CML) readings from reviewed NDE reports
    *Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on pressure equipment integrity data from inspection reports and data validation reports to ensure accuracy and consistency before data entry
    *Ensure consistencies of common data between the pressure equipment integrity database (Visions) and the work management platform (SAP)
    *Compile reports on compliance and key performance indicators (KPI) when required
    *Maintain constant communications with Asset Data Management (ADM) to provide up-to-date technical guidance on Visions and SAP data management to the Facility Integrity Team
    *Support integrity data management enhancement projects by ADM with user inputs and feedbacks.
    *Review and process large amount of data day-to-day while maintaining attention to details
    *A demonstrated ability to follow technical directions communicated both verbally or in writing; proactively seek information from appropriate subject matter experts when further information or clarifications when required
    *Ensure data being entered into the integrity database are accurate and complete with all due diligence; thoroughly understand the importance of data accuracy and completeness to the effective implementation of an integrity management program.

    Required Education / Experience:
    * Post-secondary education diploma or University degree
    * 2 or more years of pressure equipment integrity data management experience
    * Proficient with Visions integrity database or other pressure equipment databases
    * Skilled with commonly used computer software such as MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
    * General awareness of relevant industry standards and regulations such as CSA B51, API 510, API 570, API 653, Alberta Pressure Equipment Safety Regulation, and BC Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Refrigeration Safety Regulation
    * Strong interpersonal skills
    * Proven track record of following a safety culture

    * Compliance tracking of regulatory and/or environmental events, including reporting, annual submissions, audit findings, confirmation of incident reporting requirements and effective closure of findings
    * Risk assessment participation and/or execution, and update of applicable risk inventories

    Required Education / Experience:
    * 5+ years' experience in the Regulatory and/or Environmental in Canada, with exposure to both Provincial (AER) and Federal requirements (CER) related to crude and gas pipelines and related facilities (useful knowledge includes: environment, fire code, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, emergency response, EPEA Approvals, D56, D55, Manual 005, CER Onshore regulations, CER Filing Manual)
    * University degree in Engineering, Geology, Law or any degree with specialization in Policy, Environmental Studies or similar
    * Oil & Gas or pipeline experience
    * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
    * Strong computer skills
