Experienced Hydraulic Mechanic Needed
This is perm position with one of the leaders in the foundation drilling industry, offering a comprehensive line of machines engineered for every foundation application such as Drilled Shafts on a Long or Short Mast Configuration, Cylinder Crowd and Cable Crowd, Long Reach, CFA, Micropiles, Pile Driving, among many other specialty foundations.

Fulfills all requirements of a Maintenance Mechanic and has specialized training and expertise in the field of advanced hydraulics/pneumatics or gearboxes/drivetrains. Work involves precision maintenance and advanced troubleshooting, repair and installation of complex mechanical assemblies. Must have the technical knowledge to provide solutions that simplify and/or improve the reliability and efficiency of equipment within the department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Must perform and meet all requirements and responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic II. * Uses specialized knowledge and training in hydraulics/pneumatics or gearboxes/drivetrains to troubleshoot, repair, install, assemble, or disassemble complex mechanical assemblies or precision equipment at an expert level. * Will be the subject matter expert for the department or location in the field of hydraulics/pneumatics or gearboxes/drivetrains. * Works with local leadership, maintenance teams and suppliers to recommend and implement solutions that produce cost-savings, efficiency improvements or simplifications to equipment or processes. * Must have the knowledge and ability to plan, perform and lead pneumatic, hydraulic, gearbox or drivetrain projects. * Coordinates the activities of other employees or contractors on assigned projects. * Interprets schematics/blueprints at an advanced level. *Research, specify, and help source equipment and parts. Additional Responsibilities: * Must have a solid understanding and the ability to exercise appropriate judgment when troubleshooting motor controls, PLC and electrical components. * Assist ARP Planners with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities. * Assists in training of coworkers as needed. * Follows all PPE requirements and safety rules/guidelines for all tasks being performed. * All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Industrial Maintenance is preferred. * 3 to 5 years of heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience is preferred. * Advanced knowledge of the following maintenance disciplines: AC/DC motors, gear box mechanics, pumps, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, lubrication principles, welding, cutting torch, NFPA 70E, and common maintenance hand tools. *
