    Manpower is looking for a Job Placement Consultant to join our Powering Trades program in Red Deer in a full-time, permanent position. This person will support our Powering Trades Training Program clients in gaining employment in the Trades industry. We believe that it is important to place the right people in the right roles - that our people are integral to the business and a major reason for its success!

    In this role you will provide career coaching and you will be responsible for the proactive, direct marketing of job seekers to suitable employers for job placement based on their skills, interests and experience. Your responsibilities will include:
    * Directly market program clients to suitable employers based on their skill assessments, interests and experiences
    * Proactively expanding employer relationships through warm calling and promoting program/clients
    * Attending career fairs and marketing the program and its clients to prospective employers
    * Assisting with ongoing promotional activities and initiatives as needed
    * Meeting assigned job placement targets
    * Providing one on one assistance and support to program clients as needed
    * Providing feedback and support with job search strategies
    Case management of program clients from resume assistance to job placement, including conducting Mock Interviews and Interview preparation activities with clients

    * Related education / experience
    * Demonstrated experience in cold/warm calling, networking and relationship building
    * Must be a self-starter who is comfortable with direct marketing of clients to employers
    * Passion and commitment to assisting individuals with career development opportunities and reaching their career goals
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    * Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
    * Ability to utilize creativity in order to maximize opportunities
    * As a component of the position entails traveling to client-sites, a vehicle is required
    * Industry connection to directly market clients to employers in the skilled trades ie: plumbing, pipe-fitting, electrical, welding, carpentry

    As a Night Scheduler, you will drive all aspects of the forecasted numbers and provide exceptional customer service to our candidates and clients. You will be responsible for putting people to work, helping them get ahead, and connect their skills to clients.

    Working hours will be: Night from 9 pm to 6 am or 11 pm to 7 am (Monday to Friday)

    You will be responsible for the following:

    * Drive all aspects of the fulfillment schedule for the clients by dealing with the employees
    * Drive associate and client satisfaction by matching top talent to great work opportunities and maintain loyalty
    * Increase the number of associates out; Attract, engage, market, employ and advance (i.e., level up) candidates/associates
    Develop relationships with hiring managers on existing accounts to secure future and expanded opportunities
    * Develop and maintain brand awareness and trusted advisor status by sharing recruitment expertise and dialogue on workforce insights through various platforms
    * Understand and educate others on the dynamics of the local market, labor and workforce management

    Job Requirements:

    * 1 year of scheduling experience for high volume clients
    * 1-year experience in staffing (agency environment), customer service, and/or sales; Graduates are welcome
    * Technical competencies: desktop (e.g., MS Word and Outlook) and social (e.g.,
    Twitter, LinkedIn) applications,
    * Must have own reliable transportation, this position will require a car as there will be traveling between different sites to recruit. Co-ordinating schedules with end users for master schedules, forecasting experience.
    * Answer inquiries and obtain information for public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties.
    * Provide information regarding activities conducted at establishment; location of departments, offices, and employees within organization.
