Manpower is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Business Development Specialist, based in Edmonton, AB. If you are seeking a fast paced, challenging environment and excel in bringing in top clients and developing strong business relationships, then this is the position for you.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Specialist role:
* Develops sales and marketing strategies focusing on HR Services, Staffing, and Professional Staffing.
* Business development and ongoing Account/Relationship management.
* Uncovering business opportunities, prospects, self-lead generation, cold calling, and face to face, to grow customer base.
* Strategically market competitively held accounts to secure new business.
* Develop, implement, and manage a detailed business development program of sales calls, direct mail, office administration, and public relations.
* Function as lead and primary sales resource on identified target accounts and responsible for creating the account plan and coordinating the approach and communication strategy with Branch Managers, on these accounts.
* Develop strategic solution oriented sales plans to increase business within key accounts and partner with Branch Managers to implement same. This includes selling strategic product and service offerings/solutions and negotiating pricing strategies.
* Manage the Branches in the area of client retention and new business development.
As the Business Development Specialist, we require:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of work experience is required.
* Minimum of 3 years proven outside direct sales experience with focus in consultative and solution-oriented sales approaches.
* Proven experience in developing sales strategies, conducting cold calls, making sales presentations, closing techniques and developing service and pricing proposals.
* Strong computer skills - MS products.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Own vehicle with valid drivers' license; use of a vehicle for the role is required.
