    We are currently recruiting for a Research and Development Operations Assistant for a major manufacturer in Evansville, IN. The role of an assistant is to work with Associates to implement functional specific work associated with infant and child nutrition projects and portfolios, supporting the delivery of projects and solving technical problems. The assistant is responsible for executing work on specific projects and delivering against team goals. This role is expected to last one year.     Responsibilities include:
    * R&D support of a designated range of products with the key goal of protecting the business through the delivery of compliance programs and supply service maintenance as well as implementation of cost saving initiatives to increase the profitability.
    * To work with partners (supply, regulatory, nutritional science, PMO, legal, Marketing, Category R&D) to deliver projects/solutions across the infant and child nutrition portfolio
    * To formulate and implement portfolio improvement and maintenance strategies across the given Health brands.
    * Execute project work
    * Deliver technical projects, ensuring that activities are executed to the standards required for the relevant product classification.
    * Ensure all required formulation, feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required quality and regulatory standards and in line with the company processes
    * Generate data which supports product changes to a standard required to meet regulatory authority standards
    * Support the wider Nutrition team with respect to required activities that support operations in shared laboratories
    * Develop knowledge and expertise to provide support for a given product portfolio
    * Support the team the delivery of KPIs
    * Maintain team compliance with working practices e.g. change management

    Requirements:
    * Bachelor's Degree in Food/Nutritional Science, Chemistry or other relevant science
    * 2 years R&D experience with a proven track record of delivery
    * Understanding of nutritional and food science or similar
    * An excellent technical problem solver
    * Experience generating technical documentation and reports desirable
    * Experience working with multiple partners to deliver success desirable

    We are recruiting for an Inorganic Lab Technician for a major manufacturing company on the west side of Evansville, IN. This position will work day shift. The pay is $17 an hour.     Responsibilities include:
    Prepares and analyzes samples of raw materials, finished products, and intermediate products using chemical, instrumental, and organoleptic quality control tests. Able to follow established methods and standard operating procedures while utilizing preferred laboratory techniques. Operates, calibrates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively performs duties required in the routine maintenance of a safe and efficient laboratory environment which is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. Maintains current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. Communicates directly with management and other departments on potential quality issues through prompt and detailed verbal and written communication. Assists with investigations pertaining to quality issues. Contributes to trouble shooting of methodology and instrumentation. Comfortable working in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

    Job Requirements/Education:
    BS/BA degree in a natural science (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) preferred. Non-degreed candidates with equivalent skill and experience will also be considered.
    Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    Experience using Microsoft based computer applications a must.
    Familiarity with ICP-MS, IC, Microwave/ultrawave digestion, wet chemical techniques, and laboratory information management computer systems preferred.
    Experience working in a GMP and FDA regulated environment preferred.
    Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
    Demonstrates the ability to achieve results while operating within company policies and procedures.
