    KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

    * Experience working with SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens and controls are a PLUS.
    * Good verbal and written communication skills with exceptional customer service orientation.
    * Must be able to interact and effectively communicate in person and over the phone with people at all levels of an organization.
    * Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
    * Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    * Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
    * Minimum of 50% travel in multi-state region; drive or fly depending on distance. Employee is expected to work at the Technical Center when not visiting customers.

    Welder $17.42-$24.67, The welder position differs but can be anywhere from 5 am to 3:30 pm with some Saturdays. This candidate must be ok with continual overtime. Perform all position welding on a wide variety of large weldments and structures, requiring a broad knowledge of welding technology and considerable welding experience. Work may be performed from a ladder up to 20 feet off the ground.
    Select welding procedures best suited to type of work and materials involved and vary techniques to ensure that all welds are watertight and display proper size, penetration, fusion, and strength. Plan and lay out erection procedures and perform set ups where burning, scarfing, grinding, straightening, forming and reforming components is required to obtain proper fits, contours, alignments, and dimensional requirements.
    Position and fit up work utilizing cranes, hoists, or other positioning equipment.
    Inspect completed assemblies for dimension, contour, and alignment.
    Work from assembly drawings, specifications, bills of material, and material specifications. Recommend changes to drawings, if necessary, to build the product in a more efficient manner and to improve quality.
    Fill out proper documentation for ASME routing.
    Use tape measure, rules, square, levels, templates and gauges to set up, fit and check work, and lay out jigs and fixtures. Employ shop mathematics to perform related calculations.
    Perform general maintenance of welding equipment, notifying the Maintenance Department of more complicated maintenance problems.
    Scan in and out of labor collection software, as required, to track work hours.
    Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
