Job Description

1st Shift Marine Assembly - $14.50/hr - Temp-to-hire



rk as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Team leaders who work as part of the team should be included.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Assist in various assembly areas of the boat production process

* Uphold safety values and protocols

* Work in a safe manner and maintain safe work area.

* Reports all potentially unsafe conditions.

* Maintains required level of efficiency.

* Monitors equipment as required.

* Great attendance record

Abiltiy to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors and other plant personnel. Attention to detail and accuracy to completion of scheduled tasks. Must be able to operate equipment correctly and have a strong attention to detail.



Must also be willing to submit to drug screen and background check



REASONING ABILITY:



The employee must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions.

The employee will work predominately in a manufacturing environment where the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be required including: safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection. The employee may also be required to use sleeves or gloves, apron, and face shield upon assigned work tasks.
