Customer Quality Representative is responsible validate and review product to ensure they meet company and industry standards. Will understand customer special quality requirements. They will work with company internal departments to conclude quality analysis. CQR purpose will include coaching and counseling inspection and problem-solving thinking.

What you'll be doing:



Investigate and resolve customer rejections and claims



Provide corrective action and root cause analysis as needed



Manage customer related issues, waivers, DPPM, etc. via-customer portal



Work jointly with customer and suppliers on resolving supplier driven rejections



Support Inspection team on clarification of customer requirements and flow downs



Quarantine defective stock while taking measure to ensure the issue is caught and resolved



Support Supplier Quality Team on supplier corrective actions that pertain to your customer



Manage daily customer claims in 48 hours or less



Manage customer's quality rating on a monthly basis



Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers



Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions



Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions



Able to perform audits internally and externally



Works on special or ongoing projects.



Prepares metrics and delivers to management



Perform additional duties as requested







The skills/requirements we are looking for:



High School diploma or equivalent (such as a GED).



A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.



Certification in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma



Certification on blueprint reading and shop math



SAP experience preferred



Quality inspection, auditing and test experience



Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
