Job Description

Are you experienced as a metal grinder? Are you passionate about working in a fast- paced environment? Do you desire a position which will allow you to work full time and receive a full 40 hours a week? Do you have experience working as a grinder in a manufacturing environment? If you answered YES! to these questions Manpower would like to speak to you about our grinder position in Gardena, Ca.

What you'll be doing:

Cut scrap, grind scrap and rotate with other helpers periodically for box building and wrapping of finished product

Pulling materials from the scrap staging area by use of parts list

Separate specific material types, colors, customers before grinding

Grind scrap plastic into regrind form

Stage regrinds in designated locations

cut down returned sheets and parts as needed

band skids and load boxes and skids to be hauled off

clean grinder daily and grease grinders

Who were looking for:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual.

Ability to write routine report and correspondence

Must be able to read a tape measure.

Someone with great attendance and perfect punctuality.

Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to work independently.

Able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
