Job Description

Manpower is hiring for an Operations Clerk to work for a prestigious law firm. If you have experience working in a law firm as a clerk, please read on.



What's in it for you:



* Monday - Friday (Full Time Hours)

* Pay Rate: $18/hr.

* Located in El Segundo, CA



What you will be doing:



* Performing data entry and review of creditor information

* Preparing weekly Supplemental Affidavits, Certificates or Declarations of Service as required for all mailings served to comply with U.S. Bankruptcy Court requirements.

* Mail handling including but not limited to opening, sorting, manifesting, date stamping, identification and delivery of all mail items received to ensure time-sensitive documents are accurately prioritized and handled. Track and maintain undeliverable mail data to ensure completeness and accuracy of client records.

* Processing various document types from multiple business lines to be scanned and input into record system for later interdepartmental review.

* Reviewing, assembling, and inputting legal documents to ensure completeness and accuracy, as well as redacting PII in compliance with Court requirements.

* Handling mail and paperwork in compliance with HIPAA regulations

* Scanning physical documents received to facilitate data entry and maintain digital archival records.

* Organizing and filing various case documents to uphold integrity of original document tracking system to ensure completeness of physical records and to facilitate rapid retrieval.

* Use of various mailroom and office equipment which includes but is not limited to convertible hand trucks, box cutters and letter openers, barcode wands, postage machine, photocopiers, printers, and label-making machines. Comply with all safety standards regarding usage of equipment.

* Working closely with Restructuring team to ensure all client needs are met in a timely fashion.

* Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:



* High School diploma or general education degree. Some college or degree in progress is a plus.

* Ability to quickly learn and navigate proprietary software and applications.

* Solid attention to detail.

* Strong written and verbal communication

* Proficiency with Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Excel and Outlook
