What you will be doing:
* Responsible for the reviewing, reconciling and closing of work orders including the reporting of variances and omissions. Document the movement of finished goods from the Packaging lines, via travelers.
* Performing cycle counts, physical inventory and maintain perpetual system accuracy.
* Managing the storage, issuance and inventory control of container labels and MRO items.
* Recording reported work hours and reconciling employee hours against time clock records.
* Complying with all relevant GMP requirements.
* Reviewing Work Orders for accuracy and completeness
* Accurately controlling and tracking physical inventory in the packaging process and resolving problems with the assistance of Supervision
* Generating Packaging travelers ensuring they are free of errors and bear all required information
* Perform inventory transactions for the movement of items between work centers and confirm the accuracy of all supporting documentation used in this process
* Maintaining inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and auditing WIP transactions; researching, verifying, and resolving inventory discrepancies and incorrect balances
* Documenting and perform inventory adjustments in a timely fashion to maintain data integrity
Language Ability:
Must speak/read/write in English as primary language of business. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Spanish a plus.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills:
General computer skills, and must be proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to effectively and expeditiously use internal software system on a regular basis to perform job function.
