Job Description

2nd Shift Leader is needed for KONDEX, a successful and established client who manufactures sickles, blades and knives, supplying agriculture, lawn and turf and construction fields. We are currently seeking a working supervisor to oversee 10-20 associates on 2nd shift. We are accepting applications for this DIRECT HIRE position! What you will be doing:

Operate and troubleshoot equipment within the Sickles Sections Department.



Assist the Team Leader to:

* Establish appropriate expectations for team members.

* Train new associates in production processes and methods.

* Maintain production, quality standards and procedures, safety, and housekeeping.

* Complete performance evaluations of team members.

* Achieve Kondex work standards.

* Maintain all necessary documentation, including disciplinary warnings, incident investigations, quality documents, etc.

* Oversee preventative maintenance program for team.

* Support material handling requirements

- Consult with Team Leaders regarding personnel issues., encourage cooperation and teamwork among fellow teammates..

- Work with Shift Leaders to plan, organize and direct the implementation of team activities.

- Participate in all required leadership training sessions.



Qualification Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Machine operation and troubleshooting experience.

Prior experience training others.

Ability to work with others, leading and participating in teams.

Strong communication skills.

Computer experience/ability to learn computer programs.
