Specific job responsibilities include:

* Light electro-mechanical assembly, including soldering and packaging, and application of light solvents to welding plastic housings

* Testing assembled devices

* Trouble shooting assembly issues

* Documenting assembly and testing results

* Working with company's Quality and Engineering teams to improve the assembly process

* Reporting defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor

* Soldering to IPC 610 standards, preferred

* Inspecting solder joints and components to quality specifications for uniformity and durability.

* Correcting solder joints below quality standard using various soldering equipment.

* Soldering additional components to boards to ensure the function and quality of the board.

* Assembling Parts (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit of subassembly at a bench, conveyor line or assigned location

* Performing visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation

* Supporting preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary and as defined in work instructions

* Recommending measurements to improve productivity, equipment performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.

* Maintains records of days activities and device history record, or other documents, as required

* Must be able to document product assembly results

* Ability to work with various tooling, fixtures and test equipment ad defined in work instructions.

* About you:

* You are an experienced Assembler (Other details can be included here or we can just bullet point this section)

* Experience with assembly of medical devices, or other regulated product preferred

* 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience

* 1+ year(s) of experience with hand soldering

* IPC 610 training/certification preferred, not required

* Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

* Ability to work with hands, including good hand/eye coordination and excellent mechanical intuition

* Ability to distinguish different colors

* Ability to distinguish audible tones

* Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
