Job Description

Do you have 5+ years' experience as an Experimental Machinist experience? Do you have experience performing semi-complex machining operations to support product and production process development? Are you able to program, setup, and operate a CNC Milling machine? Are you interested in working with a leading company that manufactures respiratory devices and aids in biomedical advancement? What you'll be doing:

Performs to individual goals established during performance reviews and/or goal setting meetings.

* Performing to individual goals established during performance reviews and/or goal setting meetings

* Designing fixtures, tooling, and experimental parts to meet special engineering needs.

* Consulting with engineer and other personnel regarding product information.

* Analyzing written specifications, drawings, rough sketches, and verbal instructions to plan layout and determine sequence of operations.

* Selecting metal stock and lays out design according to dimensions computed from scale drawings.

* Setting up and operating machine shop equipment, tools and machines to machine parts to specifications, and verifies conformance of parts to specifications.

* Evaluating experimental procedures and recommending changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.

* Assuring product meets or exceeds company and customer expectations of quality and workmanship.

* Accurately reporting production data.

* Immediately reporting any, and all unsafe conditions and/or injuries to supervisor.

* Reading, understanding and adhering to appropriate company and department policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, safe and productive workplace and quality products and customer service.

* Immediately report any, and all unsafe conditions and/or work- related injuries/illnesses to supervisor.

* Performing other duties, as assigned, to maintain efficiency throughout the company.



Who we are looking for:

* 2+ of machining operations experience MANDATORY

* Someone who is skilled in setting up and operating Machine Shop Machines (lathes, mills, grinding machines, bandsaw, dress press, etc.)

* Someone who can Program, Setup and Operate CNC Milling Machine and Wire EDM is highly desired

* Someone who can speak English and Spanish highly desired

* Someone who can communicate effectively in written and oral language

* Someone who has knowledge of Basic Shop Math

* Someone who can stand for long periods of time (as much as 7 - 10 hours)

* Someone who can lift up to 25lbs.

* Someone with a "Yes, can do!" Attitude
