Job Description

Description: This position exists to provide administrative support for manufacturing operations and Human Resource functions. The principle challenge is to efficiently and effectively handle administrative duties related to bargaining unit agreements, manufacturing plans, time and attendance, and payroll. The organizational environment is a broad-spectrum of aluminum extrusion facilities.



Accountable For:

* Providing administrative support for department such as scheduling meetings, training, posting of policies, etc.

*Maintaining hourly employee personnel files

*Input hourly employee information into PeopleSoft

*Input and maintain hourly employee information into OAS and Time and Attendance.

*Retrieval and analysis of Oracle shop floor report data.

*Weekly and quarterly attendance audit

*Resolving payroll issues

*Keeper of departmental bargaining unit agreements.

*Monitoring FMLA and sick leaves and identifying any issues.

*Assisting with grievance investigations

*Helping employees to resolve benefit issues

*Scheduling of departmental vacations

*Issuance of discipline notifications

*Being cross-trained on all other departmental agreements, Overtime, and Time and Attendance

*Sending garnishments to Pittsburgh

*Assisting with the transfer/reduction of forces process

*Seniority calculations *Administration of 25 year club - plaques, certificates, etc.

*Maintain training records for hourly employees Basic Qualifications:

*Minimum of high school education is required *Strong written and verbal communications skills *Working knowledge of administrative skills, including experience in electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and data base computer skills. *Higher level administrative training and experience is preferred



Additional Details:

This position will be a year contract. Working hours are 8 a.m.- 5p.m. Pay rate is going to be 20-22 depending on experience. Apply to this ad and send a resume to [email protected]
