Job Description

This candidate must live in or near Boise and will be required to come into the office when the site reopens to general employees.

HP will require proof of COVID vaccine for site access after Nov 1.

This role is a contract position, with maximum duration of 2 years.

Responsibilities:

Provides general administrative support for a R&D hardware development and test group.

The group to be supported includes multiple managers and first-level employees. Specific assignments may include, but are not limited to generating purchase orders, confirming product deliveries, checking status of vendor invoices, tracking equipment, developing & editing excel spreadsheets for financial records, arranging shipments, scheduling of training and meetings. Less frequent activities may include travel arrangements, greet/escort visitors, and assist new employees. The work involves coordination within the immediate group and with other departments, both internal and external to the company.

We are seeking a person who has a growth mind set and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. This person will work on assignments that are complex in nature, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This person will work with minimal supervision and may need to complete assignments that do not yet have established procedures. A successful candidate will apply knowledge of the job skills and company policies to effectively complete assignments.

The position requires a high school education or equivalent; however, college level education preferred. A minimum of 5+ years general administrative experience or equivalent combination of experience and college level education is required.
