Job Description

The Analysis and Repair Technician is expected to perform the assembly and testing of final system by following the procedures and work instructions. The technician must have an adequate level of understanding of the process of each subassembly and be able to identify the root cause of the failure and repaired the product with little direct supervision. They should be very familiar with the assembly process, able to recognize any non-conforming material and document changes in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and any other record specified by the manager or lead.

The position reports to the Production Area Manager.


* Responsible for analyzing and repairing internal and field returned hardware

* Diagnoses issues and determines necessary rework and repair of systems in a timely manner

* Assists in the areas of manufacturing to specifications, meeting quality requirements and meeting production requirements

* Diagnoses and repairs electronic/optical systems

* Organizes inventory of returned systems

* Creates requisitions for needed parts

* Ensures all tools and equipment are within calibration

* Ensures proper preventative maintenance and repairs of all tools and equipment

* Assists and train individuals who possess less experience or fewer skills

* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* 3 to 5 years of experience in technical fields with an emphasis on testing of electronic devices
