Job Description

The Service Contract Administrator is responsible for working directly with customers, inside sales and field personnel to secure maintenance service agreements for capital equipment. This position works in a very fast paced environment where a high volume of work is processed and minimal errors are expected. This position directly impacts the company's service revenue. Professionalism is a must.



Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage assigned districts which include the following:

o Receives booking package from inside sales which includes reviewing customer purchase orders to ensure they meet finance standards, reviews contract to ensure discounting, billing plan, pricing agreements are accurate prior to approving.

o Responsible for preventative maintenance service call scheduling. This includes creating or changing maintenance plans in Service Max.

o Generate Service History Reports when requested by customers and/or field management

o Assists Inside Sales, Customers, Field Service Engineers, Sales Representatives and Credit Department personnel regarding service agreement pricing, inquiries, problems/complaints, etc.

o Provides assistance to Credit Department in researching past due invoices and problem situations. Prepares credit memos when appropriate, obtaining necessary approvals.

o Keeps abreast of basic requirements for regulatory compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements. Participates in training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work as necessary. Brings regulatory compliance questions or issues to the attention of management.

o Prepares ad hoc reporting as requested.

o Performs other related projects and assignments as required.

* Additional special projects may be assigned.



Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

* Minimum of 2 years' Service Contract Administration experience or equivalent business experience

* Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and Word

Assets:

* Experience with SAP, Salesforce and ServiceMax.

* Working knowledge of capital equipment service contracts

* Excellent verbal and written skills

* Experience with medical device service contracts.
