Job Description

Shift : Sun-Thurs - 8:00AM- - 5:30PM



Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including maintenance tasks, working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Use programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Must be flexible to work any shift as needed.



A brief summary of the purpose this position must fulfill. Responsible for setups, repairs, and maintaining of the packaging and support equipment.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.

1. Standard Operating Procedure Manual

a. Know and comply with all applicable SOP procedures

b. Assure compliance to procedures.

c. Review and recommend changes to procedures.

d. Oversee procedure training.

e. Know and comply with all departmental procedures.

f. Recommend and help develop improvements to procedures.

2. Safety

a. Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work environment.

b. Follow all lockout and tagout work practices.

c. Keep all equipment (machine, tools, and shop equipment) in good condition.

d. Practice safe lifting, carrying and use of tool techniques.

3. Problem Solving & Communications

a. Must be able to accurately diagnose most technical problems, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions without assistance and guide others as needed.

b. Must communicate issues and activities to personnel inside and outside of the Maintenance Department.

c. Make thorough and accurate entries in appropriate logs and record systems.

4. Machines and Equipment

a. Knowledgeable of blistering and cartoning process.

b. Perform validation / qualification of all existing and incoming equipment as assigned.

c. Perform complete changeovers and set-ups without assistance.

d. Perform major equipment adjustments, most repairs and rebuild projects.

e. Perform preventive maintenance work orders without assistance, and make practical suggestions for improving the program.

f. Work closely with Management to identify, prepare for, and implement machine and equipment improvements.

g. Perform all other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager / Supervisor



Business

Experience 5+ year's technical and manufacturing experience.
