Job Description

JOB TITLE: Assembler, Filter Cartridge (3rd Shift)

SHIFT: 3rd shift 9:30PM-6:30AM

SALARY: $18.50

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

Reads SOP's to properly perform necessary manufacturing operations.

Adjusts machine settings, according to SOP's.

Observes automatic machinery and notifies production supervisor of any irregularities.

Presses switches to begin thermal welding cycle of various cartridge components.

Examines and tests filter modules at various stages of production, according to standard procedures, to detect nonstandard or defective assemblies.

Rejects or routes nonstandard components for return or destruction.

Cleans parts and equipment at various stages of production.

Maintains records of production and defects.

Visually inspects product, bags, and labels finished filter cartridges.

Assists with packaging of filters for shipping.

Technicians do not have to necessarily have previous injection molding experience but must have a background in machine operation (mechanically inclined). They will be setting up molds into the Injection Molding Machine using a crane, in which they will pull and push molds weighing anywhere from 25 - 50lbs. They will be using wrenches to tighten/loosen bolts, they must be careful as they will be working around hoses and delicate parts. They will be using pneumatics to remove any water from the molds, attention to detail is a must. They will be following work orders and inputting data into the machines and taking that information and inputting it into the computers. They will be running 3-4 machines at a time and in-between they will be trimming and cutting molds.
