Job Description

Assembler



1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM



Simple assembly of small parts components. Requires use of hand and power tools.



* Complete proper paper work for checklist and maintain production hour by hour boards.

* Pack, label and include instructions on all finished jobs

* Operate and adjust tools, use hand and power tools, pallet jack.

* Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition satisfactory to 5s guidelines.

* Able to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

* Follow all company policies and procedures, including Eaton's Life Saving Rules

* Ability to meet hourly/daily production standards for completed products

* Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

* Ability to read, write and understand English

* 3 months experience in manufacturing setting or equivalent

* Standing, stooping, squatting, can be expected along with other means transfer of parts.

* Repetitive wrist, elbow, arm movement and work with small parts and connectors.

* Must be able to frequently lift, pull, and push objects that are up to 35 pounds without assistance.
