Our client, a manufacturer of electrical components, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a production background, great attention to detail, and dexterity, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Watervliet, NY

Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday
Pay Range: $17-18 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Assembling component parts in preparation for brazing, sealing, or other further processing and performing initial inspection of brazed/sealed assemblies.
• Read drawings, work instructions, and referenced procedures to determine requirements.
• Apply coatings by hand, with the use of a small paint brush or other hand tools, to ceramic insulators.
• Route parts to other operations according to work instructions.
• Record completion of work steps, rework, and scrap transactions, in the computer system.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma / GED
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, performing repetitive work required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to hold and move small items with their hands and use hand tools
• Basic computer and data entry skills or willingness to learn
