Assemblers & Packers + Welder Training in Rockland, Maine
Schedule: M-F 1st shift (5a-3:30p) or 2nd shift (3:30p-2a)
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

About the Training Program:
* There are only 16 slots available for the Weld Trainee program
* Space is limited, so act fast
* Weld training is completed on 1st shift
* All trainees will begin assignment as an assembler/packer
* 3-4 weeks to complete welding training
* Get paid to learn a new trade!

Duties:
Assemblers & Packers
* Assembling and packing products
* Following all safety procedures
* Lifting up to 50 lbs at a time
Welders (what you will learn)
* MIG Welding in a production line
* Positioning parts properly with tack welds
* Understanding and meeting quality weld standards
* Using a handheld grinder to correct rough edges
* Ensuring proper bead size
Requirements:
* A strong work ethic
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Strong team working skills
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed
