Job Description

Professional Opportunity! Manpower is hiring an Assistant Administrator for a long term care facility in the Charleston area.

Do you want to transition your clinical skill set to administration? This professional opportunity allows for you to continue working in patient care while learning to manage daily operations. Position reports directly to Chief Administrator.

Responsibilities include management of all human resources functions including but not limited to maintaining staff documentation, training, discipline, performance reviews, staff development, scheduling, ensuring shift coverage during call offs, shift coverage when necessary, ensure facility's compliance of OHFLAC and other governing bodies' regulations for annual reviews/surveys/investigations. Other duties as assigned.

Clinical Administrative Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Patient care, documentation for long term care clinical records, behavior and incident reports, work closely with RN in charge of resident oversight, perform monthly staff nursing assessments, ensure completion of LPN nursing notes, facilitate annual TB and other screenings of staff and residents, place medicinal orders, ensure completion of medicine count. Position is responsible for admission process of all new residents including, equipment, chart creation, check-in meds, initial nursing assessment and the close out of the stay. Other duties as assigned.


Clinical degree plus the following: Bachelor's degree in human resources, social work, administration or 5+ years consecutive commensurate work experience

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours/week

Ability to occasionally lift up to/no more than 75 pounds

Ability to walk, stand and sit for 8 to16 hour shifts
