Minimum Education level:

High School, Post-Secondary preferred



Required Language Proficiency: English



Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

Ability to lift up to 15kilos, be on their feet for most of the day, be able to operate/clean and assemble compounding equipment, be a team player, competent in communication: both verbal and written skills a must. Must have Mechanical aptitude, computer and inter-personal skills, organizational skills, trouble shooting skills, time management skills. Must be proficient in mathematics, must be able to evaluate color and be able to contribute actively in color adjustment discussions. Will be held accountable for scheduled batches up till completion. Must be self-motivated. Must have a health and safety mindset and culture of motivating safety within the department and within the organization.



POSITION SUMMARY

Support the Compounding function through various processes. The daily activities within the department will include equipment set-up, material handling, compounding, cleaning, documentation and other operations as assigned. All operations shall be conducted in accordance with GMP, Safety Procedures and Regulations.

Responsible for ensuring that all equipment has been cleaned and sanitized as per SOPs in accordance with GMP (disassemble and re-assemble equipment following Lock Out Tag Out procedures)

Learn proper set-up and operation of all equipment used in the manufacture of cosmetics.

Responsible for the batch manufacturing of all products including, but not limited to, lipsticks, lipgloss, hot-pours, foundations, mascaras, powders, creams, lotions, and any other product as assigned. Batch manufacturing operation shall include handling of raw materials, pre-weighing of raw materials, executing step-by-step process of manufacturing utilizing SOPs, accurate and legible batch documentation, and print labels and necessary paperwork for completed batches.
